Because everyone deserves to be a parent!
Because everyone deserves to be a parent!
Many women become surrogates because they want to help couples or individuals who are unable to conceive a child on their own. Being a surrogate allows them to fulfill the dreams of others to have a family.
Surrogacy can provide a significant source of income for some women and their families. Compensation varies depending on factors such as location and individual. We strive to offer the highest compensation in the nation!
A gestational carrier, also known as a gestational surrogate or gestational mother, is a woman who carries and gives birth to a child for another person or couple. Unlike traditional surrogacy, in which the surrogate's own egg is fertilized by the intended father's sperm or donor sperm, in gestational surrogacy, the surrogate has no genetic relationship to the child she carries. Instead, an embryo created using the intended parents' or donors' genetic material is transferred to the gestational carrier's uterus through in vitro fertilization (IVF). This allows individuals or couples who cannot conceive or carry a pregnancy to have a child genetically related to them. Gestational surrogacy is often used in cases where a woman cannot carry a pregnancy due to medical reasons, or for same-sex male couples who wish to have biological children.
At Modern Conception, we understand that every Surrogate Mother is unique and special. We offer the highest compensation in the nation along with the best experience you and your Intended Parents could have!

To see if you may qualify, please complete the following application in it's entirety.
Generally speaking, the surrogacy process, from application to post-partum can take about 16-18 months, on average. You are never alone and always have a team of support to ensure that you and the parents have an amazing and rewarding journey. There are 7 steps to the surrogate process.
The first step towards becoming a surrogate is completing the surrogate application completely and accurately. This allows us to learn more about you, your health history, pregnancy history and your support system. Having a strong support system is very important during your journey.
You will also be given access to the surrogate portal and an advisor. You will work closely with your advisor during your journey. They will become part of your support network during your journey.
During this phase, you will go through steps. You will have a video conference with a mental health professional. We will learn deeper about you, your motivation for becoming a surrogate, your support system, your interests, etc. If all goes well, you'll complete a 'Personality Assessment Inventory' or, PAI, for short. The screening process is 3 steps.
During this time, you will work closely with your advisor to determine your preferences on the type of intended parent(s) that will work best for you. The matching process is very thorough. Some factors to consider as well as location is the level of involvement or communication you wish to have. You will also determine how many embryos you wish to try, information on selective reduction and termination as well.
For the medical screening portion, expect a physical exam, a sonogram, blood tests, etc. Travel may be needed and if so, all expenses and accommodations are paid and planned by us.
At this time, you will also work closely with your legal council to complete your Carrier Agreement. Your contract spells out all parts of the surrogacy journey. This portion takes 2-3 months.
It's time to start your surrogate medications and going to local monitoring appointments. These will be near you and not at the IVF clinic. You may have a variety of monitoring procedures including, but not limited to, bloodwork, ultrasounds, etc to make sure that your body is doing well and responding positively. When the doctor determines it is time, you and your support person will travel to the IVF clinic for the embryo transfer. This is usually up to a week. The process of the embryo transfer is quick, but you may have some other protocols needed or requested. Many intended parents will attend the embryo transfer. This portion of your journey takes 3-4 weeks in total.
After returning home from your embryo transfer, there will be continued monitoring at your local clinic. Beta tests/blood test are done to ensure the pregnancy is progressing well. Usually, the first test is done about 10 days after the transfer. At around 6 weeks, you'll have an ultrasound to determine if there is a heartbeat.
When you area about 10 weeks pregnant, you will be released to begin attending your OB/GYN to continue your care until you are ready to delivery. During this time, you and your intended parents may deepen your bond through weekly contacts sharing updates, photos and getting to know them better. This is different for each match. Very soon you will see your intended parents meet their baby!
As an experienced mom, you already know that this time can be very emotional. Feelings of pride, sadness, emptiness, joy, love are all normal feelings to have as you adjust to live after a surrogate journey. You are encouraged to spend time with your parents and baby, if desired. Many surrogates continue their friendship beyond birth but everyone is different. You will find and work out the best type of relationship that works for you.
Awesome! Please complete the application in it's entirety. Someone will reach out with the next steps.
